Product Description:
• Enamel coated 10mm reinforcing-steel bar stand with upside-down grease cups.
• Designed and built to hold up to 300kg.
• 30mm pegs on the bottom of each leg are designed to embed into the ground, resting the stand on the bottom frame and preventing the stand from sinking into the ground.
• Tapered design matches the style of the Bee Bunka, making the stands stronger and harder to topple.
• The inverted cups are designed to be filled with grease to stop ants from climbing up the legs and into the hive. This method proved more effective during 3 years of testing than the upright oil wells which become full of debris and rain water and loose effectiveness. The Inverted cups remain clean for longer and cause less fatalities for the bees.
